I'm currently working on getting the "loot 25,000 gold" achievement and
So far, the only solution we have is dropping group and letting me loot right after a boss kill, then reinviting back. This will work for bosses, but can be a pain, and doesn't do any good when doing an instance run. We tried going through the looting options, but free-for-all doesn't work, and nothing else seems to jump out.
Suggestions on how to maximize this so I can hit that achievement sooner rather than later?
My kitten had targeted, attacked and killed an NPC xD
It sounds stupid, but it made my day.
Has anyone else? Does anyone know how to correct this?

Originally he was a warrior. Then he was a warlock. Then he was a shaman HEALER. Then he was a death knight TANK. Now he's a priest.
A horribly under-geared healer.
Here's the amusing part.
His shaman was one of our main healers originally correct? Not anymore. In a fit of random rage he faction transferred his healer (because he wanted to apparently raid on his "MAIN TANK" now) and joined another raiding guild on the Horde. Just did this randomly. He came on after he had already done it and said that he was sick of not being able to raid on the toon he wanted (which had hit eighty less than a week beforehand).
Now I'm all for wanting to raid on a specific toon. I'd honestly love to hit up a few raids on my boomkin instead of my priest. Yet keep this in mind. He's raided on all of his toons as MAINS. He's simply switched mains all of those times after receiving raid loot upgrades. He hits eighty on his DK and says that he wants to be one of the main tanks of the guild regardless of the fact that we were already primarily filled out on tanks. We have three well geared and skilled tanks (as well as a few people with great tank alts as well). To take away one of our healers, something we needed, for a tank that we didn't need? Not nice.
All he got, by the way, for faction switching his shaman was a slap on the wrist.
He came crawling back to the guild the day afterward saying that he'd been off his medications (a lot of them) and over-reacted. Forgive me for being callous but having someone who's moods hinge solely on whether or not he's had his pills as one of our main tanks is not a pleasant idea.
Anyway, last night was the Ony/ToC run for the week. He was not one of the designated tanks and he threw a FIT. He jumped onto our raid leader who, quite frankly, has more than enough to deal with without listening to his little bitch fit.
He honestly feels entitled to go on the runs even after switching mains four or five times and after faction transferring his healer to ensure that he couldn't heal for us.
-Fume.-
And the fact that he's just getting a little smack on the wrist and told, "Don't do it again...I guess." is more frustrating than anything.
EDIT:
I apologize for how I phrased the medication comment.
I meant more that he seems to blame all of his problems simply on his meds. If he is off of them he acts like he's completely insane, he has horrible mood swings, etc. When he's on them he's decently fine but still an immature brat.

On my server (Thunderhorn) at least, it's the Droods that get all the rare mounts. I see them on Raven Lords, on those White Chicken things...I've seen two different Tauren Droods on the Time Lost Drake, a Nelf one on an Azure, with the super rare Proto-drakes, the arena tourney drakes...my husband has a bunch of rare ones and he's a drood, too.
I swear, you guys must have really epic rollz, epic pvp skillz, or just are that damn dedicated, because I don't see other classes very often with those babies.
/ends jealousy rant and rerolls a drood

I am currently in plans to turn my BE Warlock into a Forsaken. I wish to keep the backstory, the name, etc, but I am unsure of much Undead Lore, mostly about the process that turns someone into a forsaken.
My question is: How do forsaken become forsaken? Do they just die and are raised by luck/magic/pure chance? I've heard they have to have the plague when they die to become forsaken? Is this true or false as I could not find anything about it on wowwiki.com outside of standard lore/history.
My current thinking is my warlock died fighting something in Northrend. Her body was found and dumped in an unmarked grave and from there she rose to life as Undead. Would this work out ultimately or is my thinking flawed?
Thanks for any and all help!!!

Hi everyone! I'm Nellie, and I've been lurking around here for a while now. I live on Dath'Remar and currently have my main, an undead warlock slowly gaining speed on 80 (she's 75 and a half now! soo close!) called Maralyce and a tauren DK I started when I hit lvl 55 (she's lvl 61 now) called Chantry. I've only been playing since July this year so I've still got a lot to learn, but I've definitely improved. :) Nice to meet you all!
I have finally delurked as I have a question to give this post some purpose. I've been reading a lot of articles and whatnot as I want to start tanking and figured I'd learn to do it with my DK, but I'm not so sure anymore. At lot of stuff I've been reading seems to say that tanking on a DK is one of the most difficult ways to do it, and as I'm already a bit nervous about the pressure that goes with tanking I don't really want to use the DK for it if it's going to be a tricky learning curve. I've read all up on Frost spec tanking and have her nicely specced up, but I guess after starting out DPS I'm still just really nervous about being able to get and actually hold threat. I don't want to let anybody down, yknow?
So... what is all you other ladies' opinions? Is tanking with a DK particularly hard? Is there another class you might suggest as better for a nooby tank to learn the ropes on? Any random tips in general for getting over the learning curve of going from learning to play the game as a DPS to relearning the ways of the tank? Like I said I've read lots of stuff but so much seems contradictory, and from lurking I trust that ladies here will be able to point me in the right direction. :)
Do you use any particular addon for applying buffs to raid members?
------------------------------
A lot of people here have recommended Shadowed Unit Frames, so I'm giving it a whirl. So far, I'm finding it a lot more user-friendly than Pitbull4, but I've got two concerns:
Does anyone know if there's a way to enable my mana bar to be shown while in druid forms? I form-jump a lot when I'm in battlegrounds, I need to be able to track my mana. Right now, I'm running blind. D:
Also, does anyone know if you can somehow apply textures to bars to pretty them up a bit? Pitbull offered a little variety in the way of textures, but I'm not sure how (if it can be done) to do this in SUF.
I apologize, I know this isn't UI Mod Monday, but I do most of my gaming on the weekends and these are the pressing questions! :)

The other day, I tanked ZF with her. I was with a 49 hunter, a 46 s priest, a 46 reg priest and a shammy, lower lvl than me. I could not hold aggro to save my ever loving life. We didn't, not once even. I guess I held aggro about half the time LOL and I tried to get it back as fast as I could, but I felt I was doing a pretty poor job. I warned the group before hand that I was rusty. To my happiness, they were actually cool with it.
So I guess I'm wondering, is this just how it is for mid lvl druids who tank? I mean I'm 45. That's just not much firepower to me. I try to make sure my stats are where they should be, sorry can't link cause I'm at work, but in feral form, I focus on stam, strength and a bit o' agility. In that order. Plus I have most of the gear chanted. Was I loosing aggro because of the much higher lvl hunter and pet and the super power of the s priest? My rage didn't seem to be generating as much as I would have liked either.
I won't go dual spec with her, my main does not make enough money to support all of the alt habits lol... so I'm wondering if I should tough out tanking and get a few more lvls under my belt. I don't want to heal, I have an 80 priest. I guess I could consider balance (I already play too many casters), or just straight up kitteh? I dunno. I also guess I can get rid of my 3 sets of gear, well two at least, once I decide what to do.
I know there's been lots of druid posts in the past, and sorry to ramble on with this one, but I needed to kill a half hour at work LOL. Seriously though, input is much appreciated.
Peace and puppydogs and gnomes!

According to the LVCC, Blizzard and the LVCC had spoken once about having BlizzCon 2010 in Las Vegas, and a hold was placed on those dates as a marketing tactic to entice Blizzard to the area. However, that hold was inadvertently turned into a confirmed booking, leading to the inaccurate confirmations and resulting issues.
The LVCC has apologized for the confusion, and thus ends the saga of BlizzCon in Las Vegas
from wow.com
So, the game and the forums are down? Was there some announcement of oddly timed maintenance that nobody was told about?
I did manage to log in once, after about 5 mins of waiting at the connecting screen, but it only brought up the development realms and then wouldn't connect. >_>
Edit: It appears that even worldofwarcraft.com and blizzard.com are having XML problems as well?
Double edit: I did manage to 'log in' twice, but half the servers were missing and WoW crashed upon trying to connect to any of them.
